When have I ever switched teams? :confusion:

Not necessarily YOU, but most of the people that have been giving me shit all year about the vikings. And some specific people on this site. Its easy to have braggin rights when you root for everyteam that plays one certain team, eventually that team is going to loose then all of a sudden they suck, and the vikings dont suck. Didnt suck. They're an amazing team and lost by 3 in overtime with a bunch of shitty calls on the refs part IN overtime. (pass interference? Balls 10-15 yards out of recievers reach....)

I just hate the people who at the beginning of this season were steeler fans, then 9 weeks into the season, they didnt like the steelers anymore and the saints were their team. People like mbmfag drive me nuts cuz they look at the stats and start making calls like they know what football is. When really anybody who looks at a scores in the newspaper on mondays are making the same calls. "Oh, they won 7 weeks in a row...Im gunna say they'll win next week and people will think I know what Im talkin about. Try following a team for 10 years untill they finally get a good team together and start winning and put some heart in it then come talk...

And you wanna talk about the better team? Vikings had double the amount of TOP and double the amount of yards and first downs. Petersons fumbling ass gave away that game and WITH all the fumbles and turnovers they still only managed to scrape by and win by 3. So fuck anyone who says the vikings arent a complete team.

Your bitchass looks at newspapers for games bitch :D. Assuming things and looking like an ass. Anyone with half a brain and any knowledge about Nawlins knew the Vikings would be lucky to get out of there alive. Brett Favre barely did. :D That was not surprising at all. You'll love that the last time the Saints were in the NFC Championship, the year before the Giants won it all :D, I watched that game against 'Da Bears, where they got shalacked at that cold outdoor stadium Soldier Field, and toward the end of the game, "something" told me that the next time they reach the NFC Championship, it'll be at their home field, and the outcome will be different. Well, next time they got there, that's exactly what happened :D. Something turned out to be right once again :D.

Oh, and about calls, I knew you would bitch about them once they didn't go the way you like.
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=76545

By your own definition, your bitching now. But I already knew you were a Bitch. STFU Bitch. :D

I doubt that, and even if that may be the case. You see what Manning represents on the field. It took him a quarter to figure out the exact defensive scheme of another team (a #1 defense might I add) and then just split 'em like bananas all day long. As good as Brees might have been today or last week, he was never really the IT factor; unlike Peyton who is IT week in and week out.

He has been the IT factor for the Saints.

If Manning left the Colts they'd still be playoff contenders (longshot 1st rounders).

If the Saints lost Brees they'd go 4-12

Agreed.

And again to mbmfag. They may have been hittin us, but we beat the saints in every aspect BUT the score.

We beat em on the field, and if it wasnt for peterson fumbling the ball on the 4 yard line before the half we'd have won that game.

The saints didnt win that game...The vikings lost it. Bottom line

if manning left the colts they would go 4-12...brees no... that's a joke if you believe that

when manning was taken out of the jets game and buffalo bills this year, they could not score a point...

yeah no shit, they wouldn't be using their 2nd stringer anyway :coffee: obviously they'd get a pst their prime vet or someone way inexperienced but they'd still be decent

i don tthink you just understand how much peyton manning does to the offense... second half in jets game, he called every single play......

I disagree, the receivers are as good as they are because of him, seriously watching peyton go out those last 2 games they looked like they lost everything, it's like he even brings the energy for the defense, and for that he is the WHOLE team

teams play with 7 defensive backs against colts all the time, yet Joseph Addai can still hardly pick up 3 yards on a carry... Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark were shut down last game and look what peyton manning did, he made beast out of Austin Collie and Garcon.

and the saints? they are sooooo talented, they don't have standout beasts but their offensive line, running backs are better than the colts... colts have better receivers and QB... on the defensive side, all the saints are opportunistics and make plays and create turnovers... the colts defense on the other hand is very fast but can easily be beat if the other team didn't have to pass to catch up to the colts...as you saw in the last game...the jets were dominating the colts defense when peyton manning didn't have the jets figured out yet, but once he figured out the jets, notice how the defense for the colts got better? Peyton Manning forced the other teams offense to change plans which play right into the Colts Defensive strength.

oh definitely, brees is a great QB and definitely one of the bestest in the league.. he's a very emotional leader and he has the heart of New Orleans... but peyton manning isn't just the heart of Indianapolis, He is Indianapolis, He is the Colts... once he retires people will refer to this colts decade of football as the Manning Era.

Manning is a living legend, easily falls into the ranks of top 3 QBs of all time if he wins the superbowl.. Brees, not quite. He maybe but he's not there.. His team managed to win yesterday even though he threw for less than 200 yards.

oh and to prove it to you more.. notice how every QB in the league wears an armband with the plays, so they can look up the play after the offensive cord. sends it in? Peyton Manning never wears one.

damn never noticed that, but great point.

And brees is a great qb, at 6 foot goddamn I never thought a 6 foot guy could qb in this league with how big lineman are now (6'4" is prolly the smallest you'll see, most are 6'7"-6'8") so just that alone and being successful is amazing to me :y:

People saying brees is a god is ridiculous. No one would be singing any praise to that man if we hadnt fumbled the ball 124 times. He woulda got shut the fuck down if it was for our offense. Matter of a fact, You amazing saints couldnt only win by 3 with 6 turnovers. Just goes to show how bad their offense really is.

The lesser of the two teams that played made it to the super bowl. And its unfortunate.

Brees is a god? Get the fuck outta here. Favre showed that he is THE fuckin beast in the league. Saints were playin dirty the entire night trying to hurt favre cuz thats the only was they would manage to slip by.

Anyone who is not a saints fan knows that the vikings had that fuckin game in the bag if it wasnt for all the goddamn rookie mistakes.

Next year fellas, next year.

You two haven't discussed a game this much before :D :D, but when another poster did, they were bitching. But because y'all slurp the Brett Favres, y'all call it analysis now. :D.

While everyone else has moved on and is in the present, y'all still cryin about the past. :D :D :D.

And since y'all want to do analysis, go review film on the Colts, and the Patriots in their hey day, true top dogs of the NFL, who both won games when their opponent won the stat sheet of the game and got turnovers on 'em, which is what Contenders do :D, while pretenders still lose and then bitch about it days later :D :D.

Here I'll start it off for ya :D,
2006 AFC Championship Patriots vs. Colts
2007 MNF Patriots vs. Ravens

Mbmfag. This is something that apparently you dont understand.

When you follow football in general, its easy to call games because your watching the teams that are doing better and looking at the matchups. Not very hard to call games. Thats why teams that win when they're not supposed to are called upsets. Easy to pick the winning team.

However, its different when you've been following a team all your life and regardless of having flaws in their game, they manage to win week in and week out and make it into the championship game.

For a Vikings follower my whole life its a big deal. Ill be thinkin about this game for years, just like Ive been thinkin about the falcons game where we lost in overtime by 3 in 98. Its hard to forget this shit when you put so much time and devotion into a team.

You just dont understand that aspect of it, which is fine.

Id rather have MY team, that i've been following my whole life lose in the championship round then to run around picking the winning teams as "my" team. Its called a bandwagon, and fair weather fans. Sure you get your laughs every year...But we get the sentiment which is better.

Your over use of smiley faces is distracting from the words inbetween them mbmfag.
