so back in the day when i became rap battle mod i gave it a kick up the arse and everything i put in place is still the guidlines to this day, even if i dont control it anymore lol

so same script with Hip Hop Domain And Audio Stage.

any ideas for sticky threads, features anything at all really just throw your idea's at me.

in hip hop domain we have the history of hip hop, ill be looking to update that.

one of my idea's for hip hop domain, and even though im green i still need the forums backing to make moves.

is remove the "underground" and "Uk Hip Hop" sub sections.

and have a new section, for introducing people to artists, this would be underground uk french german anything, and basically id keep it to one thread per artists and the idea of the section is if you find i guy you think not alot of other people is heard you would make a thread with the artists name as the title, on post a couple of his tracks for other people to check out.

sort of like a section you can go and find loads of new not heard of artists and devlope your knowledge on a wider range.

^Man, I couldn't agree more. That would be a great section for people who listens all kinds of genres, like me. But isn't that already in the GENERAL MUSIC section? I not so sure. :unsure:

well general music is a discussion section, and yeh you can show new artists to discuss, but the section for hip hip domain im proposing would just have it neat and clean, but each thread would also be discussing the aritsts aswell.

i just like the idea of a section like

Check OUt Hyperactive
Check Out Tom Chambers

you know you check its all there and you know when you go in the thread your getting a straight link to atleast 3 of there tracks and before you know it you got alot more rap to listen to.

id be just as haddpy for general music to take the idea onboard, but its usually best to let a section grow to the point it needs a sub section before creating one.

just one of the things that annoys me about hip hop domain, is it doesnt feed through enough new hip hop, every thread is just the new track by lil wayne or nas or jay or royce, and i dont mind that at all, but i think we should always look to find artists we have never heard of before.

hmm... I think that will be great, cuz it expands our knowledge of the ocean of artists int he world today. I like the idea man. I'm with ya homie. :y:

I think that sounds like a good idea. So instead of uk & underground, we'd have one section for finding out about "new" artists, whether underground or not, u.s., or international, right? The only thing is, when an artist released new music, would someone post in that thread or make a new one? Cause I think that's what makes hip hop domain feel so messy, is we have like 20 threads sometimes for the same artist.

well the section (witch if someone thought a name for id be grateful coz i couldnt think of what to call it) would be for introducing the artist to you, ofcourse you can always post back in that thread and say yo he got a new track out. but the idea is once hes introduced that artist will become a talking point on this forum, thus his stuff being put in download centre, topics asking about his albums ect. ect.

so the section would introduce you to the guy, but you wouldnt be allowed to post another thread about the artist in this new section, but feel free to make section about him in hip hop domain if its something like "hyperactive got signed!" you know. just using examples here. ill do my best to always edit the first post in the thread about the artist in this new section to keep it up to date with the artist so no matter how old the thread is when you click to check him out your getting up to date news, but i would agree that resposnobility would also go down to whoever introduced the artist to the forum.
