Underground

I think its good that hes back to normal voice but the track is a bit overated ........
The Hooks great . The chorus is great and the energy's great but its just the lyrics are horrible !!!!!

"Faggoty, faggoty, faggoty raggedy Ann and Andy no raggedy Andy and Andy
No it can’t be it can’t be, yes it can be the fuckin anti-christ is back Danny
It’s Satan in black satin panties"

It just feels like the line's flow with less power and smartness his other tracks have ......
This is just like Takeing my ball. Throwing any shit in to the mix.

Well theres my shot at a in-dept Review
i give Underground a
5 / 10

What do you think off it ?

A bunch of meaningless lines destroy it's replay value.

The songs' whole point is him going back to saying the crazy, random shit that he used to in battles when he was still underground.
In my opinion, it's probably one of the most difficult songs he's ever written, technique wise.
Great lyrics.
Great beat.
Mediocre hook.
I give it a 9/10.
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.

The intro reminds me to the old Em..Criminal; SDGAF so :worship:

The chorus is not really good, but the verses are pretty good.
I like it :y:

I liked the hook :y:

Thought what made this song not as good was the weak ending to every verse, loved the randomness actually, and the fact the skits connected annoys me

overall i like it a lot tho :8)

It's not bad. But it seems like he was trying too hard to have shock value again when it came out naturally in his Slim Shady days.

This is just like Takeing my ball. Throwing any shit in to the mix.

If the Taking my ball shock-value punchlines were about Serial Killing rather than seeing how many different borderline homosexual comments he can get away with (while still being accused of being a homophobe, for some reason), I would probably listen to it alot more.

As for Underground, it was definitely Em jumping back into the "Criminal" or "Still Don't Give a Fuck" attitude, as you can tell from the intro. Of course, this comes off as a little forced compared to those two tracks, just like the rest of "Relapse", but it's a nice lyrical showcase to prove to his fans that he 'still has it'.

The Subject Matter fits in with the rest of Relapse, but I never liked Relapse's subject matter in the first place. But I'm glad he left this at the end, because this was the perfect way to end an album based on Serial Killing.

The Beat is probably in my top 10 Eminem beats.

I hate the hook, but at the same time I can't help but feel that it fits perfect.

Rating: 7.5-8.0/10. I don't go out of my way to listen to it, but when it happens to come on my playlist I love it. :coffee: .

its one of my top 5 off relapse

i think the beat is nuts, and the wordplay is intense(especially the 3rd verse)
but the choir sounding hook made from layering of his vocals kinda brought it down a notch.

all in all, its dope and the kind of shit i can speed on the highways to.
i just wish ken kaniff was its own skit, not attach to the end of the track :y:

Best part is the intro for sure :y:

Don't mean to be picky but I though only songs before Relapse were supposed to be on Shady Reviews?
