Fa-Q - MC Graveyard Feat. MCZu

Postby Fa-Q » Feb 22nd, '10, 06:23

Well this isn't how I wanted it to turn out :sweating: ...everybody but Zu crapped out on me, but at least his verse is great...enjoy

Does Tupac feel like King Tut, a tomb full of gold,
Died when he was so young yet, his soul is old,
Buried quickly, and for years wasn't found,
Like a silenced voice, that doesn't sound,
I just wish, if he was here, he could tell his story,
Tell us about heaven, yet hell is his glory,
Would he start speaking in tongues, or shine like peaking suns,
If I asked him questions, how would he respond,
Every September I ask God, should he be gone,
He would do, whatever he wanted, fuck the state of play,
I wonder if I said on September 7th, do you know your fate today,
If I said don't go, just wait and pray,
In Vegas, and something happens, to sour the show,
Shot, in the city, the minutes quicken, and hours slow,
The rest is history, now he's helpin the flowers grow,
I guess, in '96, "All Eyes On Me" your album's title, fufilled,
Then less then a year later, your rival's killed,

Welcome to the graveyard, some of the greatest reside here,
The MC graceyard, some of the greatest have died here,
Each of the graves full of weathered bones,
A name of the best, on each of the grey tombstones,

In nine seven, Big knew he was goin' to hell, I hope he finds heaven,
He'll probably be kept in purgatory, until God has heard his story,
Single handedly turned the game back to the East side, said Rolling Stone,
Got Sean Combs on your back, yet we all know your holding own,
And with your best friend in the back seat, you were gunned down,
The East and West coast beef, is one for one now,
Its like the police gave up, only he knows his killer,
The paramedics delayed, as each second he grows stiller,
You were steady and high, now I ask, where you Ready To Die,
You died, and we all know you were, worn in sin,
But we all know you went to heaven, you were Born Again,
I peered into heaven, Ima let you meet this flawless MC,
Is what Pac said to me, this is Christopher Wallace with me,
I had to ask him, "Ayo Big, see how you left Brooklyn,
In shambles, but it recovered, if you look again,
Were you prepared for the Life After Death, or unprepared,
Tell me about heaven Chris, and tell me if Pun is there,

Welcome to the graveyard, some of the greatest reside here,
The MC graceyard, some of the greatest have died here,
Each of the graves full of weathered bones,
A name of the best, on each of the grey tombstones,

(Zu)
People say it’s no biggie that we're pouring our drink cups
I mean, no Biggie, no Pac, half of the Twinz up
In heaven, we took an L, we lost, Big L’s minutes up
Whilst smoking a Big L, reminiscing ‘bout Big Pun
When Pun left, he left us dead in the middle, it seems
Everybody remembers the ‘Dead in the middle of little Italy’ scheme
And that ten years later, he had so much heart and tact
But see, Christopher Lee got a ticket in the form of a heart attack
To visit Pac and B.I .G in heaven and that
Pact will be why G’s equal sevens at their ends, fact..
Tupac Amaru Shakur, got shot and lost his shot at living
Though his spirit is still living, he never lost his spirit, his thinking
Will be synced in our thoughts forever, I’m thinking
Christopher Wallace had to leave, and applaud us
Because we still listen to his music, this man is an artist
So pour some Chris for Chris, and in the midst make sure to start this
Big L track that Lamont Coleman left on his track
So I’m on this track, to entail the story of an emcee rack
A frame, that holds the picture of these emcees that’s vivid
Far past gimmicks, they’re true rap pioneers so I spit this
Through your speakers as a dedicational speaker that mentions the dead
R.I.P great emcees, so of course my speech’s tension is sad

Dope verses Fa-Q, too bad people dropped out of this.. It could have been a dope ass collabo, nonetheless we killed it.

Personally, I don't like the word Tupac in a song. :sweating:

But it's all good. I felt it. Meaningful lines here and there. Nice collab. Both were on point. :y:

Well, basically, it's because every rapper says the name in at least one of their song. I just think it's too common.
