Beautiful contains a good message so it connects well with a listener, decent lyrics but then again its an emotional song, better chorus than Deja Vu, wonderful sample, awesome voice and incredible video.

Deja Vu too me has a boring delivery. Great lyrics and chorus that's all. All in all, its a boring song and I'll stress it as top 10 on Relapse

you also said 3am is Relapse's best song, obviously you have a very exceptional taste compared to other fans .

Beautiful is boring as hell to me, not to mention the cheesy lyric, and the lifeless delivery, the best thing about it is the beat

Although Deja Vu lyrically shits all over Beautiful imo, I don't sell it short. It's not really as corny as alot of people tend to think. Yeah, the theme itself is, but there aren't exactly 100 rappers out on the radio talking about being socially awkward, depression, writer's block, their dysfunctional childhood, and questioning whether or not they have fallen off.

It's just music. Some people are into Eminem for his lyrical/witty side, but then there are fans who enjoy his songs because they can relate to it. Hence, the appeal of Beautiful.
