Practically im sure you are aiming for English literature and poetry as the translation of other poetic words from other languages to english would destroy the essense.

However, you can try searching for poems of Ivan Vazov, or the Greek Kavafis. Also another more than decend poet of 1800 would be Dionisios Solomos, who's poem about a siege during a war has become the modern Greek national anthem.

Ralph Waldo Emerson is one of my favorites
But PINK my favorite read ever is the book "She" by Saul Williams. The best read ever. ps my book is finished just gotta publish it, expect it to be on sale around April 1st. :y:
