Yeah, King Rat is the shit.

I'm dying for a new album...like...it's killing me. Between a new Modest Mouse album and R2...I honestly don't know what I would want more. :(

Yeah, the Moon and Antarctica has a darker, more experimental tone.

Some of their earlier stuff has a more frantic tone to it, as Chett said. Sort of punk rock though.

That's a good one, but We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank is a better album, IMO.

If you like that one, you should love WWDBTSES. It's a much more polished album, more dynamic production, and everything that was good about Good News is improved (I think) on We Were Dead.

Check it out if you get a chance, anyway. :y:

I've recently been listening to The Lonesome Crowded West and MAA and I have to say that I have began to appreciate them quite a bit.
