Yeah, it might mean he is done recording Relapse 2, and started recording on the new D12-album! :)

EDIT: Bizarre twittered "D12 ablum coming soon!!!", then it must mean R2 is coming even sooner? :)

And now that I think about it more, reason number two makes more sense. I can't see Eminem halting the production of his own album to work on another artist's.

Pretty dope news, Em and D12 together is good enough, add Royce to the mix and it can only get better. Hopefully this doesn't mean that the concerts in Europe will be focused on D12 and Em collab songs, old and new, and not R2 songs. I would hope this means that R2 recording is finished and he's shifting his focus to other projects

I think he do that a lot actually, notice how D12 album & Em's solo album always get released so close? must be because he was working on them both at the time.
