Beauty & The Beast goth metal

Beauty & The Beast...

...describes heavy music in which a delicate, melodic female voice ("Beauty") sings in harmony with a male singer using death grunts ("Beast").
Needless to say, it makes for an interesting mix.
Theatre of Tragedy is generally credited with creating the genre.
The female singer, Liv Kristine, is pretty hot too.

It's called a "death growl" or "death grunt".
But no two singer's growls are alike, so I'm sure I'll find something brutal where you can enjoy the vocals eventually.
Obviously, it's certainly not for everyone.
