p.s. - this game is in a very technological world so far. Im not sure how much I like that, since my favorite thing about ffx was the pre-tech/religious theme.
@guta - yeah ffxii was good, like I said, i loved the battle system but other people hated it.
They kind of blending the old style fighting system with the ffxii fighting system in this one.
Its real time but you actually go into a battle scene rather than just runnin up to people and attacking. I like it....
It reminds me of ffx-2 , but that was a long time ago so Im not sure how similar it is.

isnt the storyline of the contrasting worlds ? the techno world and then the more raw world ?
anywae i havent played it read reviews mixed opininons..although goin by everything ive read and heard (and thats alot)
my opinion stays firm, the enix influence in the legendary gaming company that is squaresoft has slowly been killing everything that made squarsoft great from the off put.
the the truly RPG defining FF games (post snes) 7 and 10 both squaresoft, 10-2 ? square enix (sucks) FF online ? meh...all these gazillions square enix half assed games that take one little good aspect of the FF series completely over use it, forget everything else and then release it as a mediocore rpg game, then the milking of all squaresofts truly great games ( every FF on snes even chrono trigger)
my proof of this, every single FF has its faults but the one truly thing that has always stays amazing, is the characters, the characters interactions, how you end up "caring" for the characters, the storylines, even the romance has always been there.
and since enix joined, the last 2 mainstream FF efforts have been great in ALOT of places, the main faults from fans...the characters and the storylines. enix games always had great graphics..great battle systems...but there story's never reached that of final fantasy, and thats why back in snes time, although tales of series has excellent graphics for back then and new exciting battle systems..final fantasy still became THE rpg for rpg fans..now enix has its claws in there its sucking what was great out of it.
