I don't think they need as much buzz as 50 to get heard. They just need to be talented...

Sure Obie didn't live up to 50 in terms of sales but who the fuck does lol. 50 got shot 9 times and was sizzling and had a totally overblown (vs. his talent) buzz.

But Obie still did good numbers and is a respected name in the business thanks to two solid albums on Shady.

I cannot fucking understand why Em hasn't signed Redman. Redman said publicly that he would get off Def Jam and jump over to Shady Records right now... And nothing's happened. Em's #1 reaches out to him and nothing happens yet some bum (Ca$his) sends him a fucking demo in the mail and he gets signed... Sure.

I've provided reasons for my dislike and disrespect for his lack of skill.

It's not jumping to conclusions when you've heard what he can do, you don't have to hear 5 albums by somebody, you can tell immediately.

He may improve overtime but as of right now, he's still a pile of shit and putting him on R2 would be a horrible idea. He's a terrible lyricist.

you said it pretty bluntly when you said he is awful and also said he is terrible. I'm not particularly a fan of Cashis, but he is not that bad. Remember that what you say is just opinion. And saying that he is a terrible lyricist clearly shows you do not listen to him, or have not listened to him enough. I disagree that you can tell immediately if a rapper has skill or not as well. I think he can develop into a good rapper (he needs to improve on his delivery in my opinion). What did you listen to by him? Did you like anything at all?

I do agree that putting him on R2 would be a bad idea because of such different styles between him and Em, but who knows, they may make a real good track. I think of it like this... On the day that the tracklist is released we see a Cashis feature, I will be super excited! Because for him to get on the album the song would have to be great.
