I think the whole, "he raps best on his own beats" idea is pretty off-base considering he relies heavily on other actual producers. If he has any input on the beat, he'll basically get a credit for it.

Also, don't forget about what Premier said.

Yeah true. I'm just going on the ones that were confirmed to have worked with Em.

When was Khalil confirmed?

Lmao how does he rely heavily on other producers. That's actually what Dr. Dre does. Dre often gets full production credit for co-production and gets credit as a rapper despite not writing. 2Pac even said that he'd been there when Dre barely had any input and then got full credit for the beat.

Em produces beats on his own from melodies in his head. He rarely samples unless he's re-working the chorus and doesn't rely heavily on other producers.

All his shit on SSLP was pure collaborative with Bas Bros as was some stuff he did on MMLP bar "The Way I Am" (one of his best beats still) which he produced by himself.

He also produced almost all of The Eminem Show by himself. And TES is a lot of people's favourite Em album and they're all his beats. And he raps best on all of them IMO.

Em said something along the lines of he doesnt want to produce because he has to focus on it too much and he ends up thinking about the beat more than the lyrics. He never gets satisfied with the beats he makes, thus, he isnt very happy with the final outcome of the song.

On another note. Em talked about how he wrote like 500 songs while he was away from the game. We all talk about king mathers and all the shit he made that we would never hear.

Id like to hear all the beats he made. I know I dont make beats that often cuz it gets kind of complicated to make it sound really original, but when I do I can get caught up in it for hours. He may have been writing and recording that whole time, but Im sure he was making beats too. It would be cool to hear some of the better beats he made while he was away. I bet they are dark and depressing. Emotional type of tracks. Not good enough to ever be used, but nice non the less

It's looking like a June release in my eyes.

I love the production on Rock Bottom. :worship:

A website saying someone said something is not credible.

A video of that person saying it...is credible
