I'd already given up on him...and then he shocked me with Relapse.

Then I got my expectations up for Relapse 2 knowing he was sober and that was the key to him being himself...but they've been shrinking with all the delay and the weak verses he's done in these lame collaborations with the likes of Lil Wayne.

Dont get me wrong, still listened to the old shit from time to time...but when its time to move on its time to move on.

I still believe that Em has the ability to release a complete and excellent album. So I do not think that it will be subpar. All the factors are there to make it a great album... Em focused and in a good mindstate, wanting to make songs that have alot of meaning and a ton of replay value, and also wanting to just make a great album. Em realizes the standard people expect from him, and I don't see him falling short here.

So, A lot of people here don't care for Relapse much. From what I gather, people thinks a decent album but put it under sslp, mmlp, and tes...but above encore. So, Im wondering, with all the anticipation....If R2 doesn't deliver like everyone is expecting, or is about "as good" as Relapse....How many of you will kinda 'give up' on eminem. Not to say stop listening to his music but not get as hyped for one of his albums coming. Or will you be upset and say you wont get that hyped, but because its em, when he does drop another, you'll be just as hyped regardless
