It depends on a number of factors, all varying. For example, what is the monthly revenue and / or potential for revenue. Also the rankings, age, general awareness and some other things.

Say a site is earning $200 a month from ads. As a rule of thumb you can pretty much times the earnings by 10 to get a qucik rough estimate as whoever buys the site will make their money back within 10 months. So it's reasonable.

So if TR was earning $200 a month, it would be worth AT LEAST $2k. But with a site like this a lot more comes into it as it has a lot of well arranged content, potential for expansion and revenue growth, it has a good longevity and awareness factor amongst a good amount of online Eminem fans etc.

So you take everything into account but at the end of the day it's whatever the market is willing to pay. But given this site is ranked well for a lot of terms, its age, what I imagine the revenue is and the big forum with over 20k members... Easily $5-10k+.

No I posed a hypothetical ad income amount to demonstrate my rule of thumb. I then digressed a little and posed an estimated amount based on, oh lets see...

My... 4-5 years experience in Internet marketing. My years of experience in bulding, buying and selling websites and general overall knowledge of the sector period. It's what I've lived since I left school.

So that was a pretty stupid fucking response from you. As for your little slip-in of the old argument, I'm not raking up old graves. Feel free to do so but you'll be ignored.
