I agree it's not a classic but it is definitely a decent debut album, without question. The fact that he has his own style and attitude on the album is a fresh breath of air in the mainstream industry. No talk about fucking bitches, having lots of money and driving a nice car.

I'll probably end up buying this...if nothing else to support a good new and upcoming artist.

I absolutely think that.

What are you talking about "not memorable". Every single song is ridiculously catchy and filled with substance or sharp doses of it. He's an incredibly mature writer and due to his vast / broad appreciation of music in general, not just rap we get an album unlike anything else.

There's nobody like him, he raps as well as he sings, he creates hook after hook of intensity. "Don't Let Me Fall" and "Ghost in the Machine" are so superb. Nothing new? Lmao. What the fuck are you on.

I think its a great album. The mixtapes from last year are both really good though too, the material on them was album worthy.

Still only heard about 4/5 tracks. I pre-ordered the album so I'm gunna wait til I get it then listen all the way through on AAC quality. The songs have 'talent' written all over them.

I didn't mean 'catchy' when I said memorable. If that the case then every song in top 40 must be classic then cuz they're all insanely catchy. There are great mature filled substance albums out there, but calling one 'classic' definitely take it to a new level. So if this was a classic then it's on the same level with mmlp then? I said it's a great album, but it stopped there. The album does not make any kind impact, I don't find any song that makes me speechless or like wow.

And how can you say there's nobody like him? he does pop/rap, he sings, there are rappers out there like that (Drake?).

The aac format aint better than Mp3.

Unless it's possible to download the album in flac I recommend buying the physical album.

So does B.o.b if you listen closely. Not as much as Drake though, not even close.

But to be fair I have only noticed it on some of the tracks so I don't know if it's on all of them". It is often impossible to hear it, unless you're Kanye or Drake.

Eminem used autotune...but I dont consider him to be autotune rapper...like wayne and drake...I like Drake...but you have to respect B.o.B more for having dope skills(he can sing,rap,produce,etc...)

Decent album, not a classic.

It's too much of a mix of music genres IMO. It may change the more I listen to it tho.

I don't know, having a fusion of genre's that works so well seems like a positive to me, at the end of the day he still considers himself a rapper and majority of the content within the songs is rap. He just knows how to write a good hook and sing it :D

I love this album, it does seem really fresh when your listening to it, very well written and thankfully no 'gangsta' crap, dudes got his own style as well as huge amounts of talent :D pre-ordered the Album off Amazon.

Won't be here for ages though :( why did they have to only release it in the US :(

Classic albums are 36 chambers, Paid in full, Illmatic, Reasonable doubt, Whut thee album, Ready to die etc.

Does anyone honestly think it's among those?
