I'll listen to it when I buy it. I'm gonna pre-order it but not sure from which site yet. I have 3 options:

Getting it from the official website for $13 which would come with two immediate downloads, a video and a bonus track. Seems pretty cool. That's just under 10€ which is great but I don't know what the packaging and delivery costs from the US.

Getting it from Amazon.co.uk 16 pounds which is about 18€ without those bonuses and probably delivery. This immediately seems worse but I don't know the US' cost.

Getting it from Play.com which is 12€ and is free delivery, great but, it's being sent on the 31st of may, WTF?!

So it will probably be the first option...

I think it's a similarly strong debut to SSLP for Em.

But on the real, call this a classic, and you should be lined up and shot..

Only jokin'.. But yeah.. It's no where nearrrrr a classic.

I support B.o.B lots though, i currently have his mixtape and soon his album.

I'm not saying this is one but why do people act like nothing released today can be considered classic? I mean Raekwon just released an instant classic last year which I would say is only slightly below the original OBFCL. Every one of those albums you listed other than Paid in Full are 90's album so your pretty much saying hip hop has been shit for a whole decade. Again i'm not saying this albums classic but it could be a borderline classic and B.O.B. imo has the potential to make classic albums in the future.

Never said that hip hop has been shit for a decade or something like that.Talib Kweli's debut album, which is one of the best hip hop albums ever made imo., has been released during the 00's. Nas has been fire too with albums such as God's son and Stillmatic. Let alone TES and MMLP.

Common kind of resurrected during this decade with the album Be.

It's not pure Hip Hop.
It's a great album, but not a Hip Hop classic.

Alaine wrote:you guys really think, say 5 years from now, people will look back and call this a classic? :facepalm very good album but not memorable enough, doesn't bring anything new to the game, doesn't have any impact. Definitely underwhelming compared to what I heard from him before.

I absolutely think that.

What are you talking about "not memorable". Every single song is ridiculously catchy and filled with substance or sharp doses of it. He's an incredibly mature writer and due to his vast / broad appreciation of music in general, not just rap we get an album unlike anything else.

There's nobody like him, he raps as well as he sings, he creates hook after hook of intensity. "Don't Let Me Fall" and "Ghost in the Machine" are so superb. Nothing new? Lmao. What the fuck are you on.

I didn't mean 'catchy' when I said memorable. If that the case then every song in top 40 must be classic then cuz they're all insanely catchy. There are great mature filled substance albums out there, but calling one 'classic' definitely take it to a new level. So if this was a classic then it's on the same level with mmlp then? I said it's a great album, but it stopped there. The album does not make any kind impact, I don't find any song that makes me speechless or like wow.

And how can you say there's nobody like him? he does pop/rap, he sings, there are rappers out there like that (Drake?).

And I didn't mean catchy by memorable either. The songs are memorable in the vital, artistic sense. That top 40 hit comment is ridiculous, that's not what I meant at all and you know that.

And to say because you're calling an album a classic it's therefore on the same level as all classics, such as MMLP is also ridiculous. As if you can't have better classics than other. I think Illmatic is a classic in its own right but that MMLP shits all over it.

I also think SSLP is a classic in its own right as is TES but that TES is lightyears ahead. Many elements can make an album classic and calling an album a classic doesn't put it on ONE level that ALL classics are at.
