Why is is bad???

It's not he's just a retard that likes to pointlessly oppose any 'popular' view. So because 'most' people are praising B.o.B so much, he feels the inherent need to hate B.o.B and say he's shit.

It's natural. Many (myself included) sometimes do it with things like... Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter. But, I've matured out of it to a large extent and even when I do it, I can always justify it. It's never just aimless, I do usually... Genuinely dislike the thing.

Yep...I can dig that...but you should always give something a chance before you judge it

@Xray...I doubt you even listend to the album

Attention People: We have a guy admitting he's been pointlessly proclaiming how shit an album that he hasn't heard is, for the sake of it. The lamest, easiest cop-out, called sometimes (by equally lame people) "trolling". (yet he's calling ME the pathetic one). A gross misunderstanding of pathetic.

Even if the person was not truly doing this, they can claim they were and get out of any embarrassing situation. Ie. looking ignorant. Well, so it would seem. But oblivious to the "troller" is the fact they look even more ridiculous by even claiming they were "trolling" and thinking it's cool, funny or edgy. Or clever. When it's just tedious.

PS. On rare occasion a SLIGHTLY smarter "troller" will try and emphasize he knows "trolling" is lame / not funny but that he's just relishing in your (the bait) annoyance at it. As we know though, any "troller" cannot grasp the fact that the 'bait' is rarely, if ever, actually getting truly annoyed by their see-through childishness and they in fact look even worse for pretending to be above it, when in fact they're the ones being laughed at. Because they fool, please and impress nobody but themselves.

That's all for now folks, I will now speak directly to the dunce...

@Xray - At no point have I said anything indicating I'm "butthurt" or anything approaching that sort of attitude. All I've done is logically lay out reasons why I think the album is good.

It's impossible for me to get emotionally distraught about somebody like you having an opposing opinion on art to me. Because you're a dullard and a philistine. So not only do I expect you to think the opposite to me, I want it. I would be ashamed to have the same taste as you. So once again, you fail.

Calm down dude, I can't imagine what you'd do if I taped myself breaking this cd.

I don't give a damn about this guy, I heard a couple tracks and he doesn't impress me.

Hop off his dick though for a second, acting like this album is on some illmatic shit or some shit.

^ Once again, we can see here the dunce avoid any of the actual response, act like the subject is dick-riding (when nothing about B.o.B or the album was mentioned in the post) and try the same old tactic of getting a rise out of said person with cheap blows. Yawn.

If me posting pointless shit in this thread stirs you up, then so be it.

I bet that Em feature is the only real reason you think this album is great, or maybe its cause Eminem thinks this guy is dope, and because Eminem thinks so, so do you. That's what defines a stan, when you got no control of yourself, that's when you're a stan. And Eminem's verse wasn't anything special at all. I heard it once and never ever again. Boring ass shit.

^ Once AGAIN, even after his transparent tactics have been unmasked for all to see, we see the dunce repeat them. It's a fascinating display of repeat stupidity but we shouldn't be surprised. That is of course why he is, a dunce.

Notice how the dunce did exactly as was aforementioned. Using cheap blows to try get a rise, again, ignoring the preceding posts which clearly state the fact that I'm not even close to being riled. Also, we see the dunce make his own connections to re-inforce his fictional views.

He proposes the idea that I only like B.o.B because of Eminem-inspired reasons, without backing this up or knowing it. He then concludes / assumes that it's true, again, with no evidence of this in order to jump to the painfully overused 'stan' insult. An insult which he gives meaning to, which stemmed from... An Eminem song. Ignorance, childishness, irony AND stupidity in the same post.

My goodness, this really is a dunce of astounding proportions. We may even keep this one in for testing as he appears to be a rare breed of dunce. We could learn a lot about the dunce race from him.

He's def. good, but I think he still needs to brush up his style a bit more now that he is in the spotlight. I get the feelin that he doesnt know his sound exactly just yet. The cd is really good, just seems a bit scattered.

Really good though

Lol at the "this ain't real hip-hop" people. Are you serious? What's not real about it lyrically it's probably better than most of your favorite artists. This isn't only great when it comes to hip hop but it's great musically. Let me ask you this, is Kanye "real hip hop"? Because 90% of hip hop fans will agree in calling The College Dropout a Classic. Have you heard the Outkast Speakerboxx/Love Below? Just because it's not talking about the streets, or drugs, or as 50 would say the harsh realities. Everyone doesn't live like that but that doesn't mean it's not great music.

I recently got into B.o.B, downloaded a few mixtapes and was really anticipating the album. Songs like I'll Be in The Sky, Generation Lost made me think this album could be classic material.

However, i really don't know what to think. I was expecting more from B.o.B. I think he is at his best when flowing, and he doesn't do enough of that on the album. IMO a solid rap song needs 3 verses, sometimes 4 for hip hop fiends like pac and em. I dont think B.o.B has a song with 3 verses on the whole album.

I would rank Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon much higher.

Overall

7.5/10
