TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes Died Eight Years Ago Today

Today marks eight years since the tragic passing of TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. Taken too soon, Lisa was killed in a fatal car crash in Honduras. Throughout the 90s, TLC brought their positive messages about female empowerment, safe sex and being yourself to the front line with their music. In a business dominated by men, TLC gained popularity with their in-your-face, brash performances – the brunt of that coming the group's quirky emcee Left Eye. Today, we're still riddled with memories of Left Eye's funky style, empowering attitude, and most importantly, her flow. Watch this collection of videos of Left Eye through the years reflecting on some of her most memorable verses and collaborations. RIP Left Eye – you are missed and always remembered.

yeah i seen the video of her car crash i was a little umm weird/creppy it just looked like she knew it was gonna happen or somethin :unsure: anyways R.I.P girl :(

I've never really listened to any of her music but anyway, it's sad that she passed away in that car crash so R.I.P.
