Way too Drake/Wayne reminiscent and it's actually rather upsetting. All his classic, huge hits prior to this were really nice and had the pop sensibilities but they never imitated what other people were doing. I feel like this has stepped over the line AND I BLAME BOI 1DA!!!

I'm really really really really really really REEEEEAAAALLY hoping this is just a way for him to work his way back onto the charts and the Blaze/Dre/Em produced tracks are different.

sry but i really desagree with you, the words in Airpane pt.2 was littel off-line, but these are in the right place with the beat!!!

It won't be a hit because it doesn't have the mainstream catchy appeal to last.

Doesn't mean it's not a great song, it is.

For once, I don't think Eminem gives a shit abut Billboard positions.

This album is for the fans.

No, its not gonna be a hit because eminem doesn't promote his stuff. He doesn't perform on big events, he doesn't want to be everywhere. But he is everywhere!!

Eminem is probably one of the only artists who can still chart heavily without promotional appearances.

However, he does not have the influence to match the current trend in the music industry, that is the internet era with itunes and youtube exposing people to all types of different music from artists they haven't heard of, that is word of mouth. Previously, when a song from a big artist came out, everyone would listen to it based on reputation and it would bomb the charts. It doesn't work like that anymore, that's why artists like Kesha, Jason DeRulo, Taio Cruz etc. who are not big artists at all do so well, because of the fickleness of music fans who listen to jump onto anything catchy.

Loyal support + a good song can only get you up to about top 20 these days.

The lack of mainstream appeal in that song won't get too much airplay.

Fair enough if you disagree, but that wasn't what I was saying. I just meant I generally hated the beat.
By out of this world, I meant fucking awesome.

Em was genius. Hated the beat.

That's not what I'm saying. Don't put words in my mouth. The beat of Without Me, We Made You, The Real Slim Shady, etc. had NOTHING to do with the lyrics.

I have no beef with the lyrics in Not Afraid, I just hate the beat.

And I'm not comparing Em's lyrics to Drake, I'm comparing the beat to a beat I'd expect Drake to rap over. Which is fair enough considering Boi 1da has produced a lot of tracks for Drake.
