FC Barcelona 0 - 0 RCD Espanyol

When Barça needs to secure a crucial victory for La Liga, Espanyol always has to come and complicate things. It's happened quite a few times in the past... It's not over yet, thank god, Barça is still winning La Liga but now it's even closer with Real Madrid. Barça was winning by 3 points but drew last night so if Real Madrid win their match Barça will be ahead by 1 point. And there are only 5 matches left now... If both teams do share the first position Barça would still be winning by goals.

How is Danny Simpson doing for Newcastle?

Very very good. Would never have been good enough to play for Man U or break into the first team or anything but he's progressing really well. One of the few players in our squad who I feel can do an excellent job in the Premier League.

He started of a bit shaky but we some confidence and getting match sharp he looks really accomplished. Defensively he is sound and likes to get forward which is something I love in full backs.

Always thought he was gonna have a great career somewhere even though he wasn't United quality. He had a great debut against Wigan but never played again after an absolute shocker against Everton where we had to play with two right backs in the first half. The lad had a great attitude too; always calm and down to earth in interviews and never argued with anyone on the pitch. He just went in and did his best.

Great attacking full back but lacked something defensively. Didn't he almost score against Newcastle at Old Trafford a couple of years ago?

Attitude is world class. Always speaks highly of the club and stuff which is the kinda player which we need becuase we're used to egotistical idiotic players. So he's a breath of fresh air.

I think he did, I have a slight memory of it. You probably battered us like you usually do in recent years 'cept the 1-1 first game of last season. That was a great day out.
