makes me wonder why there aren't any amazing rappers in third world countries.

1.can't get publicity if it isn't originally from their culture and what their culture wants, like over here
2.need a good grasp of english language, if you do it in your language, you CAN be amazing, but only known locally
3.rap originated in America, more specifically new york, and they crafted it, and been through its changes and all.
4.different cultures, different musical tastes

Yeah, it's kinda obvious but it's true. 50 Cent is a perfect example, I was recently re-listening to GRODT & POTD and was amazed at how he's now absolute shit . I mean, Back Down & Life's on the Line destroy just about anything he's done since then, IMO. I liked 'hungry' 50 Cent, too, now I can't stand him :(
