Not Afraid came in this week at number 10, sliding one spot from 9 last week. The week prior is was at number 6, after a big drop from number 1 (debut).
So, in four weeks, Not Afraid looks: 1, 6, 9, 10
I really think with all this activity (promotion, performances, new music, and Saturday's video) Not Afraid will stay cozy in the top 10 singles until the album releases. I think this is good news. Eminem's recent singles have been having trouble with their staying power. I think this is a really good sign for not only the week 1 numbers, but also Recovery's staying power on the BB200. I've said it before, but with NA's success, and the features on the album, and the way things seem to be going, Em could have huge week 1 and month 1 numbers. HUGE. Bigger than Relapse.
Relapse dropped this week, after increasing on the chart for 4 weeks. I am really curious on the exact numbers for its sales, it must be closing in on 2M. (I'm guessing its around 1,970,000). I predicted a while ago that the week of Recovery's release w ill mark the week of Relapse passing that benchmark.
Any idea on why it isn't certified 2x plat?
