Okay, well i've got an idea to stop leeching on the download forums.


add this code ( its about nearly half the way down )

it basically means, whenever you want to get the link to a download, you've got to reply with props or thanks or whatever before you can have it. It would stop people just downloading without giving any thanks and it'd be a better idea.

The thing is: that no hiding only clutters up the download section.

Ones that use the search function will be constantly bumping all topics.
I know the feeling of being leeched from, but if people actually need the album much they'll leave their props. leaches actually keep the rapidshare links alive.

It is a good idea, but like Asp said "they keep the rapidshare links alive" << Um...I never knew that lol. And besides, I think TR said that people who just have 100 posts and are just visiting to use the download section will be deleted

We automatically assume they are leechers. i sometimes post on other forums wen i have extra time, and i have like 100 posts.

The spammers actually leave after they get 100 posts and download a few videos.

We all know that people who request wont get their request filled if they aint a good member.

just seems kinda pointless as a feature. however it can improve post counts and boost some activity.
