The reason so many Eminem fans hate Wayne is that he is a very gimmicky rapper. Em has done his fair share of gimmick tracks, but Wayne sort of bases his music around them; Eminem bases his music on very personal stuff. For example, the whole Slim Shady persona was created to talk about his life from a different, dark, skewed and sarcastic vantage point. That shit is very deep.

If Wayne and Em did an album together, Wayne would be more personal and true-to-heart with his music. It would be very different than his other stuff: no garbage like Lolly Pop, etc.

BTW: I think Wayne has a tremendous amount of rap skill, I just don't like the way he applies it. My two examples are A Milli and No Ceilings. Great rhymes, metaphors galore, even tight (at least, interesting) flows... but at the end of the track, you just kid-of say 'whats the point?' All that Wayne does compares, in my eyes, to Eminem's freestyles (Despicable, I'm having a relapse, the Tim Westwood Freestyles). You are entertained by it, but theres no real substance.

Hell yea I'd buy it. Like all the people here said, it'd bring out the best in them. Not to mention they're basically the 2 most popular rappers out now. If Wayne brought out No Ceilings/C2-3 shit and Em brought...well, himself, then we'd be in for a treat.

My problem is Wayne can't make a deep song. I've seen him try, with those New Orleans ones, but it's just not him. He was meant to be the "sick flow, sick metaphors, sick punchlines but no real substance" rapper I think. Haven't even seen one song with replay value as far as meaning goes. I'm definitely not a Wayne hater though, he's pretty good. Definitely not one of the best in the game right now like Em said, but pretty good.
