I believe people need to rate this album with actual thought instead of a first listen perception. I listened to wont back down for the first time around 4:30...it left me speechless and not in a good way..i went to work and came home to listen again..closely analyzing his multis and metaphors..the man truly is the most lyrical motherfucker to do it...the crazy thing is he can rap his ass off talking about basically anything he wants and it appeals to the masses...which brings me to this..i have completely become aware of the evolution of eminem..i've anticipated every album insanely(not as much as i am with recovery) and now im realizing what we all take advantage of.. he is literally had a completely different persona on every album..to the point that we are basically seeing a new artist every time..with recovery he is taking todays rap(metaphors,punchlines,flow) and dominating in every aspect..there is no more shock value in topics so he has had to adjust to basically spitting shit that makes you say damn this man is a genius..returning the lost shock value he does this miles ahead of any other rapper..and whoever you think is better..even they know deep down they arent..soo ill get to the point..when u get your hands on recovery(CD or zip file) i want you look at how he takes his past style in some songs but newly revived...other songs with deep emotion..and other songs saying basically im the best and listen to me spit about it(wont back down)...this is what i feel we are lucky enough to recieve shortly(probably the next week) so enjoy it..this may be something you tell your kids about and only you can apprechiate it in your own way..just make sure you take everything all in..its going to be alot to absorb folks
