lmao, that's one hell of a story. I'm about 1/2 that, but granted, you've listened to a lot more hip hop than me, I'm slowly adding to that. I'm like at 11, almost 12 GB.

Nas - I am

Shit is straight fire, can't believe I havn't listened to it before (apart from Nas is like). Thought I would check it out after someone on here said it was mad underrated... and no way I think it is a bad album!

Yeah, definitely one of Nas' best. I'm still bemused when people place this alongside Nastradamus as Nas's worst album. There are so many classic tracks on there - Undying Love, Big Things, Dr Knockboot, NY State Of Mind 2, Nas Is Like, You Wont See Me Tonight, Hate Me Now, Favor For A Favor, Ghetto Prisoners....

Shit, just looking through the tracks - the whole album is fire.

What surprised me the most is that he is actually an immense storyteller; I already knew he was good but I didn't know he was that good.

He has alot of "Slick Rick lines" where he makes a kind of dialogues between the persons he describes which Em also did in Brain damage.

Slick Rick - The great adventures of
Talib Kweli - Quality

Just added two more albums to my play.com cart after listening to the latter a couple of days ago. The Proud off Quality is simply one of the best hip hop tracks I have ever heard.

I pretty much only bought the Slick Rick album as part of my "hip hop studying" since I want to know more about story telling, and this one has always been hailed as a story telling classic.

Moment Of Truth is such a great album, one of my favorites. Good choice!
PackFM's album seems to be getting a good response, I'll have to check it out one day. :y:
