No song in Recovery is as lyrically phenomenal as Stay Wide Awake, but the rest of the album does feel considerably better than the rest of Relapse in those regards.

Easily Relapse.

Recovery has far better content, story-telling, and flows though.

The flows are close, but I think Recovery edges out Relapse, yes.


Also Recovery has better delivery by a long shot.


I always favor lyricism over the other things, but lyricism alone isn't enough.

well still i'd have to say recovery. recovery makes more sense and the punchline and hidden meaning are far more clever than those of relapse.

Well, rapping about real things is harder than fiction, but still, his rhyming on SWA and Deja Vu beats all of Recovery to me. And Deja Vu was real life.

So, yeah Relapse more lyrical.
