To Mart85 for that On Road to Recovery Mixtape

Not only was it awesome, not only did it hold me over until Recovery...

BUT, it also captured the essence of Recovery PERFECTLY. Like, seriously... did you hear Recovery before you made that mixtape? You really, really nailed it on the head.

I haven't downloaded it put I heard it on datpiff.com and that shit is fuckin' crazy. Em should have mart signed to shady records to produce for him. :8)

Em should make a remix album like this and have the shady records artist featured on the remixes. Sorta like the Biggie album he worked on. That would be dope. Anyway, big props.

and yeah, now that I look back on it, the tape kinda sounds like Recovery lol. I mean, the sampled hooks, or "collabs" with female singers... I did try to choose songs that would fit well together, like I didn't use old remixes from 1999 or something, and I wanted to have more serious songs, but I guess I was lucky too lol. Also, the tape had a lot of Jay-Z verses, and then Eminem announced he was teaming up with Jay-Z for special concerts.
