plus, it was so obvious that Brown was trying to obstruct Gerrard's run and if you look closely, it appears as if Brown was trying to elbow Gerrard in the first place.

personally i don't think it was deliberate. i've done it myself many times in sunday league matches where people swear down that i deliberately elbowed someone or whatever, when i really did not intend to at all. i can relate.

if it was deliberate though, good for him. Brown deserves it.
