His verse on Forever is better then any verse on Recovery

Why couldn't he have rapped like that :(

I think there are many better. The verses on "Almost Famous" are class.

His verse on "No Love" is similar in sound to the "Forever" one though.

It is better than a lot of it, but I have to disagree. There's at least 5 verses I liked better on Recovery.

Some verses on Recovery might be better lyrically but his flow and delivery on Forever and The Warning are the best in his entire career. I don't understand why he switched it to what was on Recovery.

Forever verse is one of Em`s best, but it is just one verse, and I guess, it is easier to write one great verse on a track with other rappers. Just like Em`s verses on Renegade, and verse from Git up-that is some crazy shit. Recovery is great. Fourth verse on GTC, every verse on AF...

Wow, well that's your opinion, fine. But to me that statement is nuts, Recovery easily beats them.

I just listened to the full album for the first time since it leaked and I honestly don't see how it's good at all. I made this thread cause I was bored and wanted some discussion.

Well if you've listened to it and aren't convinced it's good then I doubt anything I or anybody could say would convince you otherwise. It's taste.

But I think the album is fantastic.

^ If you're asking 'why' to me saying I doubt anybody could say anything to convince you...

- Because your taste is your taste, I could maybe try and convince you why some of the lyricism is better than I think you perceive it but you probably understand it the same as me anyway.

So at the end of the day, if it doesn't sound that great to you, I don't see how a logical debate could make it sound greater lmao. It's like... I thought Pulp Fiction was sublime first sight, and I don't think I've ever disliked something then been 'convinced' it was great.

I've maybe... Overlooked things, paid more attention and then 'convinced' myself after appreciating it in a new light (although I can't recall anything) but generally-speaking, for me at least, if I like something I like it if I don't I don't. We can talk semantics but that doesn't change your taste.

And I still think of Forever as the worst song Em has been on. Eventhough his verse is fire....the song sucks major dick overall.
