In Recovery Eminem often refers to Proof as Doody. "It aint like doody to do that, he wouldnt fuckin shoot at nobody".
But he also Refers to himself as Doody "why you think Proof used to call me Doody"

Is this like a mutual nickname or something? Sorry if this has been asked before

Also, in The Re-Up on "Trapped", Em's intro says something like, "Big Proof... Rest in peace Doody we love you". Just something they called each other.
