Was Royce ok with Renegade?

I'm just curious if he's ok seeing Eminem performing Renegade with Jay and he knows he was on the original, or ok with the fact that his mention in Em's verse is "jiggared" out. But Jay probably asked for both their permissions first before he did the song.

Well I think what bugs Royce now is the fact that most people see that song as a Jay and Em original.

I know that actually cuz I was listening to an interview about it back in the day. When the original came it was a smash hit, but Interscope wouldn't clear it cuz of politics shit so it never became as powerful like 'Scary movie'. After Jay heard it and wanted it for his official album, Interscope cleared it so Em personally called Royce and asked him if he was down with it and promised another track for Royce then new album. Royce was absolutely 'ok' with it and him and EM recorded the single 'Rock City' for Royce album which made Royce a star at the time. Royce never got and probably still don't have a problem with it cuz it was worked out. Royce only had problems with EM for rejecting him to get signed to Shady, explaining he's too busy working on his then new record, and soon after that signing 50.

From what Royce said, it seems they didn't like Renegade. So he's ok with the song being done with Jay-Z.
