See I need some help.
I haven't had a job before and i am now determined to get a part time job at GameStop
I was hoping for anyone that has been recently hired to give me some advice on the whole process

I already printed out applications onlineGeno wrote:Go in and ask if you can apply.

not to be a dick but how would you know
I go to Gamestop A LOT and have asked about jobs there. You're basically just on call, so you don't have a set schedule, meaning you can't really estimate how much you're gonna get paid. A lot of my buds at Gamestop will be working at my local store one day, then another store across town that I'll happen to stop at. Basically, you have to TRULY TRULY TRULY love video games to put up with that type of bullshit.

go to http://www.ge.com and go to careers and see if that job is available in your area, its hella easy and you make like 5,000 a month at 32$ an hour x 160 hours a month.

but basically for any place you apply to, put in your application then call them a week later and say you're checking on the status of your application. and they'll tell you either they're still looking through them, found someone else, or you get lucky and they were gonna call you eventually anyway and you get somewhere.
