LOL, some people on this forum are so idiotic they deserve to be shot.

Deja Vu, verses nothing special? Base syllables too simple? :facepalm :facepalm2

Deja Vu absolutely CRUSHES Going Through Changes lyrically. GTC is an "emotional connection" and everything, but the lyrical structure pales in comparison to Deja Vu, which is the only song he's done in the past 8 years that holds up against his older work.

You could hear Deja Vu on The Eminem Show. You'd never hear something like GTC, which, although it has its moments, is rather sloppy in parts lyrically (splitting lines between bars...rhyme scheme isn't even close to Deja Vu).

this. GFC is a good song way overrated
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it
Spend a million a track and went over my budget (Ohh shit!)
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?

Deja Vu, but by a very slim (and shady) margin.
Predominantly, predominantly, everything's always predominantly
Predominantly white, predominantly black
Well what about me? where does that leave me
Well I guess that Im between predominantly both of em
I think if I hear that fuckin word again Imma scream
While I'm projectile vomiting, what do I look like, a comedian to you?
Do you think that I'm kidding?
What do I look like some kind of idi- wait a minute, shit, don't answer that..

If you don't like Deja Vu, you're not an Eminem fan, period.

That's the quintessential Eminem song.

Opinions will arise.. for you to say people deserve to be shot for their opinion is the true idiocy..

As for lyrics, Going Through Changes is technically a better song then Deja Vu.. However, that's my opinion...

Shoot me now for it..It'll still be documented..

Nope, that's objectively wrong. The rhyme schemes are something that can be empirically evaluated. Saying "I like GTC better than Deja Vu" is an opinion. Saying "GTC is better lyrically than Deja Vu" is a false statement...at least according to anyone who understands the technical aspects of complex lyricism.

It would be like someone coming in and saying Bob Dylan was a better vocalist than Elton John.

Did I mention the song lyrics anywhere in the post...?

No.. At least I don't believe I did...

The way the song is constructed, executed, and performed is better than Deja Vu. In my opinion...

The transitions between verses, the vocals used to deliver the lyrics, and the chorus all are better than Deja Vu..

It takes more than lyrics to make a good song, it's the way it is presented, also..

Going Through Changes is the final paper. Deja Vu is the rough draft.

But I love Deja Vu and it´s hook.

Gee...what do you call this?

As for lyrics, Going Through Changes is technically a better song then Deja Vu.. However, that's my opinion...

Wow, you're a full-fledged bullshitter, aren't you?

Let's see..."constructed," "executed," and "performed." Three absolutely meaningless terms that don't actually say anything.

For one, "execution" and "performance" are the same thing.

The "transitions between the verses"...what transitions? The chorus? Oh wait...you said the chorus third, hence you repeated yourself YET AGAIN (number one sign of a bullshitter). The chorus to Deja Vu (which is Eminem all by himself...without a sample) blows GTC out of the water, anyway. Opinion? Well, you have something wrong with you if you think it's better to sample Ozzy and then add in your own vocals afterwards than to craft a brilliant chorus like Deja Vu. You could also like dog shit better than chocolate cake...and then hide behind the "IN MY OPINION!!!111" barrier.

The "vocals used to deliver the lyrics"...um...hmm, this sounds familiar. "I want Eminem to exude so much masculinity that I wet myself!!! Any somewhat higher pitched vocals make me insecure about my manhood!"
