I disgaree in that it wont make a difference to whether he's the best ever.

However, I agree that Em needs to branch out with his collaborations. Since he signed 50 his rap taste has died a sad death.

So many great rappers out there who I'm sure would do anything to work with him but he;d rather do 3 collabs with Wayne. I don't get it.

All the track he's done with the greats (not many, but the few) were all classics.

Also, I SOOOO wanna hear that track he did with Rakim - another track that'll we will probably never hear.

Just one collab with Nas and I wouldn't mind if he makes a joint album with Drake or Souljah boy.

Wasn't the Rakim record from the Encore days? If so, then I'm not that excited about it. When thinking about it... Rakim probably had his mouth shut during the whole studio session if he couldn't make the final cut for Encore.

I'm not too sure that it would change the masses opinion about Eminem if he collaborated with other legends. Most people listen to whatever there is on the radio wich excludes many legends. Would people consider Wayne as the best rapper alive if they knew who Redman is?

Hip hop "nerds" would probably accept him more though.

Shit, no way that Em got MURDERED by Slaughterhouse. I'd say he did the best on that track, but its all about opinions. But there was no murderin on that track.

But you're right, he needs to expand his horizons when it comes to feats. As soon as fuckin possible. Tech N9ne, Nas, Rakim, Xzibit, maybe Diabolic (eventhough it'll never happen).

" i'll work with you, you don't have to sell no units, this is hip hop brother we can all do this" canibus.
i think the reason em is so particular with his collabs is because he's scared he'll get outshined, like it's the end of the world or something. he could collab with anyone he wants but doesn't.

Nah not really, in order to be the best you've got to drop classic albums, I couldn't give a shit if Em worked with Stephan Hawking's, he's got two classics to his name which is more than I can say for the vast majority of hip hop artists

If you're gonna judge people on who they work with then RA The Rugged Man is one of the best emcees ever, fact is he isn't. Why? Because he dropped ONE album in almost 20 years which was a major dissapointment, yeah RA has an elite skillset, but he never put out an album that lived up to that potential, whereas Em made two, and if you regard TES as a classic aswell then he made 3

I'd take a few classic albums over working with a few good lyricists anyday, takes a lot more skill to craft an album than to drop a great verse, which is why so many "lyricists" get overlooked - for the most part they dont make good music

Saying that I would love to see Em work with the likes of Pharoahe Monch, Andre 3K, etc.
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified
