I'm kind of shocked at your love for Lady Gaga. Weren't you disapointed in the commercial nature of Recovery? Or was it the collaborations? Your general attitude towards Eminem doesn't seem like the type of guy that would like that garbage Lady Gaga puts out.

You're probably right about me, I hated Recovery, and I hate everything that's commercial and mainstream. My favorite rappers are Copywrite and DZK. I'm more surprised that I like Gaga then you are. There's something about her music though She's deffinately not an untalented attention whore.

She may not be totally untalented, but she is definitely an attention whore.

The clothes she wears to award shows aren't for "self-expression", they are to make people talk about her. It works, too. I just think it's an unoriginal way to get attention disguised as being original. While no one else has wore something like that before, people have worn outlandish clothes--the difference is that they wore them for the fashion value.

When Jennifer Lopez wore the iconic dress years ago that split all the way down past the belly button, it was for attention, but it was also for the fashion. Lady Gaga knows the only way to get people to talk about what she's wearing is to wear something that makes her look foolish.

Her entire look and personality seems fabricated and fake. She's the definition of commercialization. While her subject matter and style is slightly different than the pop stars of the past, the fact that she totally changed everything about herself to become a pop star makes her no better than any of them.

Like what you want though. It's not like it's anyone else's concern but your own. However, I'll end it with this.
