8 Mile is so underappreciated becuase of the quality of Lose Yourself. Shit's immense.

True. I barely ever see it mentioned.
I think if it was released as a single with a video it would've been gigantic too though. Such a quality song. I feel like that was his true peak.
It's like... He did TES but... "Lose Yourself" and "8 Mile Road" felt like the next-level up. The next progression, like his music was going to become even more godly, cinematic and huge with every element. Just so crafted, the beat, lyrics, flow... Amazing.
But I guess he burned himself out then slumped a bit.
