Everybody has at least a few social embarrassments every now and then. It's pretty much unavoidable given our error rate and... The way other people perceive us vs. how we perceive ourself. It's always just a matter of time. Although you can minimize it.
Anyway, for me... Something which was painfully embrassing at the time and still makes me squirm a bit is a time when my sister (about... 17 then) and her boyfriend (about... 20 then) both saw me rapping "Lose Yourself" to myself, in the mirror. I was about 14 (am 20 now).
So... Pretty much the WORST ages in all cases first of all. You got me, 14, pretty much the beginning of the max-out period of sort of... social-confusion (especially for males), then... My sister, age 17 - Nice, great age, still young enough to relate and take the piss but old enough to have a bit of pseudo-adult cringe in there too. THEN, her boyfriend, around 20. A guy going into full male adulthood, must of loved seeing this.
So you got those aspects, then you got me, with my hood up - Rapping an Eminem song, using my hand as a mic, going full-throttle... Stance, arm / hand actions to the max... I mean, aw fuck. What made it worse was the fact they sat there for like a good few minutes before telling me lmfao. So it's not like it was just a glance. But they had a good show of it, got a nice amount of time to intake the cringe then exhale it back at me. That kind of situation you're sort of stuck in the cringe too, you have to just accept it. Can't even laugh it off as if you were just being silly, not when they've seen you stood there taking yourself very seriously... By yourself, in full vanity. Haha.
I actually have a situation even more embarrassing than that but I'm keeping that one close to my chest. Anybody else... Most embarrassing thing ever happened to you?
