but. instead of critising what my scripture says.what does yours 'say'?
I respect your honesty.
The Qur'an says that Jesus and all of the Prophets throughout time, peace be upon them all, called to the worship of God alone. Jesus was a human being born of the virgin Mary, who performed miracles and ascended to the heavens, but he never commanded anyone to worship anything except God and Jesus was also not crucified.
Every sane adult will be held accountable for his/her own actions and there is no scape goat. Prophets like Abraham, Moses, David, and Jesus were given scriptures, but they have not been preserved for us to follow today, as they were for past nations. We should adhere to the most recent and only preserved scripture that was revealed to us by God which is the Qur'an. Since the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was the last and final Prophet sent to mankind, God has preserved the Qur'an for us so we may know Truth from falsehood. The Qur'an can be traced back to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and there is only one version in one language... the Bible is not like this.
Concepts such as Jesus being God and the son of God, etc. were later introduced after Jesus left, which turned Jesus into an idol. Idolatry/associating partners with God is the worst sin of all and Jesus will condemn those who worshiped him or associated him as a partner with God Almighty.
