Shit works on so many levels

-He's using two well known opposite phrases
-You've got the play on peace/piece
-The play on mine/mind
-He flips the question on it's head but the wordplay is still incorporated.

The fact he's managed to use the two phrases with two bits of wordplay, which work as a double meaning, and add a load to the song, in such a short line is astonishing.

This is the kinda wordplay I love from Em, not the pointless, un-clever ones on Recovery.

not to kill the vibe here but Andre 3000 came up w an even sicker line based on tht play on words. its from Aquemini (1998) on Return of the G, its like his very first line:

I think it would have gone unnoticed had he not said it. for me at least. Just like the "checking the male/mail" in MMLP.
