Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

Postby DrRapid » Jul 30th, '10, 16:31

I just realised that there's going to be another Assassin's Creed this year called Brotherhood. It doesn't have the "III" because even though it's a direct sequel it follows the storyline of the previous character instead of making a whole new one in a different era. This game will include multiplayer for the first time and you'll have to recruit and train fellow brothers or assassins hence the name of the game. I'm looking forward to this so if there are any AC fans, some videos:

Yeah that's the thing that would hold me back from buying it. No matter how much I enjoyed Assassin's Creed 2 I don't want to buy an almost identical sequel with just some fixes and minor upgrades. I would need to find more about the game to know how much it has changed gameplay-wise. The multiplayer could be good although it might not be that worth it just like Bioshock 2.

Yeah, I can't imagine an overhaul to the extent necessary. I'd rent it, just to finish the game properly, but unless the cities are MUCH bigger, and have more to offer exploration wise, as well as interesting side quests and maybe even a new city... I can't see $60 being proper.

What I do know is that they're going to include Rome as a new city and that it's going to be massive, bigger than AC2's biggest city which was Florence. I don't know how many other cities they're going to include though. AC2 in terms of quests was way better than the first game, I didn't actually get bored, the game finished at the right time although in a bit of a disappointing way.
