Blackberry Curve 8520, Any good?

I got a pretty good offer from Vodafone to get a contract and a Blackberry Curve 8520 cheaply. I honestly don't give that much of a damn about mobiles so I wouldn't care if I had a 2010 one or one which can only call and play Snake cause quite frankly that game is awesome but if I can replace my crap mobile with this Blackberry then I might as well.

I've read the reviews for this model and they're quite good I'd just like some personal opinions from some members. So do you know if this is any good? You can tell me that Blackberrys suck and to get an iPhone but it won't change my mind cause I'm trying not to spend too much. Is it worth it though?

Blackberrys no longer seem for only the business person, lots of people seem to have them nowadays which I thought was quite stupid because they don't really need that sort of mobile, it's a bit unnecessary. If I can get it as part of the offer to replace the mobile I have right now, then why not. The keys are small but aren't a problem for me, I'm quite used to them due to family members who have it.

A friend of mine had it, but he was disappointed because he's more into applications and games which are hard to get for the Blackberry.

If you don't care about apps and games, I think you should get it.

Way more expensive, even in the offer. Plus it's out of stock, plus that has had problems itself to do with the antenna.

Exactly, my last phone didn't even have games cause it was that sort of old "attempted-to-be-business-like" phone so it won't make a difference to me if it has apps and games or not.

All the blackberry's I have had have been good. this model is newer and seems even better, so it shoiuld be a solid purchase
