at least his music matched his image, Gaga tried to do controversial image but her music is generic pop with meaningless lyric, the worst part is, when she goes on interview she always talk about how her music is "art" when people can obviously see it isn't, that's like Em having the angry blond image and go all bad-ass in interviews but then make boyband music in his albums. I like her music, but she shouldn't try too hard to convince people that her music is so "artistic, meaningful" when it's not, that's just ridiculous

People remember her just because her look. But Eminem is remembered by his great music.

Ahh you guys are missing the whole point.

Eminem is more famous, Lady Gaga is currently more popular. There is indeed a difference. Fame is forever, popularity is temporary. Granted Lady Gaga will go down in history, but she did not break racial barriers like Em did, nor has she been around nearly long enough to become close to the album sales Eminem has. The whole dress real weird and have really nontraditional and insulting music videos has been done before by people like Madonna and so fourth. Of course they're not totally a like.

That's not to say Eminem isn't really popular right now, he is. But if Lady Gaga had an album out right now it would probably be hitting hard against Recovery sales. I don't see it happening, nor going over well with the old hardcore Em fans, but a Em/Gaga collaboration would destroy the charts. I don't think the two artists see eye to eye on most things though. Not just with morals but on the way things should sound and be presented.

I don`t know who is more popular, Em or Gaga. They are both big. They both shock people. But, besides shocking, Em made me laugh, made me sad, he has a song for every mood I`m in, made me say "daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, this guy can rap", his music is a big part of my life. Gaga just made me say"daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, this bitch is ugly!" She has stupid little popish songs, and I think that is way easier to be famous pop singer, than to be famous rapper, cuz radio and tv love pop. So, I guess, Eminem is bigger.
