What does that have to do with anything?

He's going to go on about how Diabolic isn't even good enough to get a Wikipedia page. I've seen on a forum before members were annoyed at how when they set up a page for Diabolic Wikipedia kept taking it down for no reason.

Some thought it was because of Illuminati.

Let's get this straight

-One Mic doesnt enjoy underground American rap and prefers to listen to Giggz talking so slow that he almost raps backwards about so boring stereotypical bullshit.

-Class dismisses anything that is mainstream just becuase it is and thinks something is good as long as the guy isn't known by anyone who doesn't wank over Canibus' metaphysical raps.

(just tryna ruffle some feathers)

Diabolic is good and I enjoyed his album but he isnt better than Em. No way. He can shit multies out his ears but his album, like a lot of underground rap these days, his album and songs in general lack a certain direction to them. Just rapping for the sake of rapping. I can enjoy it for a time becuase of how skilled he is technically, though.

Plus SSLP Em runs circles around Diabolic. Bolic doesnt even come close. His multies are wayyyy more forced that Em's were on SSLP plus Em's storytelling skills are in a different league.

My sentiments exactly :y:
You know what amazes me about the bit I enlarged? Canibus actually tried at least 3 times to go mainstream, but he failed, yet a lot underground heads hail him as some kinda God and hate on mainstream artists- honestly if most of these guys had their way, they would be mainstream, simple as

I'm sick of people hating on Canibus and saying the same exact shit over and over again. Metaphysical raps? Why? Because he throws science into his content? It's his gimmik, that's why he stood out. Paz has religion, Greydon Square has atheism, Tech has politics, Chino XL and Eminem both have the edgy bashing, and Canibus has science.

What about the fact that every song you could bring up of his and label as "metaphysical bullshit" is the shit no one likes. That's like characterizing Em as a rapper by posting "Fack". Get the fuck out of here. Canibus said some of the most wicked shit ever on a mic. Period.

I'm Bis and I can string some mutlies together. Sometimes it doesnt make any sense at all but it's a multi so it'll do. I havent got a clue what the fuck I'm talking about when it comes to this science malarky but I rap about it anyway.

I couldnt make a good song if it slapped me in the face, and I sound like I have throat cancer. Most of my stuff is pretentious bullshit and I use big words to show off, a lot of the time in the wrong context.

Eminem making songs like Mosh and pretending to be political is by far more shameful. It's not his science babble that's sick. It's his early work that was such a breath of fresh air. Channel Zero, No Return, and U Didn't Care are some of his only conceptual tracks that I like but I don't listen to Bis for conceptual tracks, I don't listen to him for knowledge either, I listen to him for his raw lyrics.

Morph my arms into a sword and clothesline you running forward

That is imagery. That is original.

I agree with you, Canibus is great at what he does, all I'm saying is people who critisise mainstream artists and praise 'Bis are the worst kind - he tried to go mainstream, he tried to sell out, but failed - he isn't underground by choice, and either are most underground rappers

I tottaly agree that Eminem going political was embarasing.

I'm not saying Bis isn't talented but the dude makes the most boring, pretentious bullshit music imaginable and is so fucking overrated. His multies are so forced it's actaully ridiculous.

You can't take all of his work and write it off based on that. Boring? Maybe his new work but I have 30-40 of his freestyles I keep in regular rotation, some of the most entertaining lyrics ever. "The Lost Lyrics" hosted by DJ Rukiz does him more justice than any album he's ever released.

Forced multies as in slant rhymes or forced multies as in not cohesive.

He's usually not cohesive. But most rappers are like that with their mutlies bar prime Eminem and Big L and some others.

I always get the feeling he's putting in words that dont really need to be there, just for the sake of a multie. To me, he seems to sacrifice making real sense & making ejoyable rhymes just to look clever with some multies.

Well I think he's released too much for his own good. That's why his lyrics sometimes take a nosedive. The guy touched on so many things back in the day. The days I have trouble writing a 16 Bis makes me feel like shit tbh.

Bis is talented at slant rhymes. I think why he sucks so bad now is because he doesn't sound as hungry now, just a really boring laid back delivery.

Stop turning this into some debate about if Canibus is good or not for Christs sake. :shakehead:
