I thought it was good, valid points and good explanations.

The only thing I didn't like was, for someone who doesn't listen to rap, if they were to read this, it would make eminem sound like he is hands-down the greatest rapper ever, and that in everything the music is judged on he is the best at. While I think he's the best, I don't believe you can claim him the best at everything, especially since rap in general is covered in opinions and bias. I guess what I'm saying is you don't compare him on any level to others...you mention other rappers but don't compare their rhymes, or flows, or concepts, or sales, or impact, etc. You just say em has the best and most creative flows that nobody can match, like the reader should just assume this as being true.

^ Well like I said, this was written like a year ago - I didn't post it. One Mic just posted it as he found it on my site. I did say most of it was badly argued to me now.

But regarding your issue on going into other rappers, I would do that if / when I re-do it. But, you mentioned sales / impact etc. - I will take none of those into account. I hate it when people go there.

And that just shows how honest I am about that point too because... Given Em is the biggest selling rapper of all time it would be very easy for me as a fan to use that to fall back on as a point. So I'm from a winning position if that mattered, but I don't think it does.

If Em had only sold 5 million records I'd still think he's the GOAT. I'm talking about GOAT as a technical rapper, as a lyricist, as a creative artist only. Sales don't play into that for me, they're just a mirror of an artist's success but not necessarily how good they are. Which is why I hate it when they go into that on MTV debates, influence too...

Influence is more relevant than sales but still, if Em had sold hardly nothing and nobody paid any attention to him - If he'd still made the songs he has in the way he has... I'd still call him the GOAT. All the upshots of his creations are exactly that - UPSHOTS, not direct representations of how good he is on the mic. So I hate it when they all start debating who's influenced the most change etc. That doesn't coincide with being the GOAT rapper.

Tha Carter 2 is the best out of the mentioned, besides No Ceilings (which is okay at best) and it wasn't very good

ALOT of people (ranging from old school fans, new, mainstream, underground has said C2 is a classic) More people then less has said it from the hiphop sites i go on like hhdx, rapbasement etc...

It has been proven by reviews, Critics, fans, listeners and artists what else is there to prove?
Just because YOU don't think it's a classic you cannot speak for everyone as a whole.
