I'm reading '1984' by George Orwell at the moment, great book. I've finished reading Chuck Palahniuk's 'Pygmy' a week ago and in between i've read the new Adriean Mole. Just got my package with 'House of Leaves' in it from the United States.

The Stranger by Albert Camus is the only book I read for literature and enjoyed. I'm more into action novels so i highly recommend The Bourne Trilogy by Robert Ludlum; best action you'll ever read in a book. I'm currently reading The Murder Room by P. D. James. So far so good :y:

Old ass thread but I couldn't find any newer ones and I didn't feel like making one myself.

Anyways I just finished The Stranger recently and I liked how it was succinct and how Meursault tersely describes people around him but gets really detailed when talking about his physical sensations.

Finished Watchmen a while back and what can I say other than greatest comic book ever.

Recently bought a compendium of HP Lovecraft's complete fictional works from the B&N Leatherbound classics and it's pretty rad.

Ordered 11/22/63 (Stephen King),Dracula and Crime and Punishment (people seem to really like this book here) the latter two which are also Leather bound classics (what can I say I'm building a collection out of these books).

Also reading the Murders in The Rue Morgue by Edgar Allan Poe, and since I'm still a novice at literature I've been pushed into reading comprehensively, just about every word I've seen that I don't recognize I jotted down their definitions. It's surprisingly good if you can get past that barrier even though his language can seem archaic nowadays and he does like to flex his vocabulary a little bit too much at times.

It's funny I didn't read The Stranger, Catcher in the Rye, Fahrenheit 451, until after I graduated high school and only read the sparknotes of them when they were assigned, lol. Yeah that's it for now.

I think I have the stranger but never read it, as for the other 2, the catcher in the rye is one of my favorite books, i think i read it like 3 times, and fahrenheit 451 is an amazing book as well.

It's pretty good and worth reading (only clocking over 100 pages) it made me lol at times for how ridiculous it was.
