And I think he could easily do other things. I mean even Relapse for me, this is why I say it was a step in a better direction. Because yes he's the murderer on the album but...
It's not all about him. He's creating visual, fictional murder situations, he's looking more outwards for once. But criticism simply made him retract back inwards n start dissecting himself again.
Are you telling me ALL he knows about in life is his own life. In order for him to even make half the references he does in the ways he does he would obviously need to know a lot more than that. Songs like "As the World Turns" prove he can do a lot more than just rap about his own life.
Even a song like "25 to Life". Yes it's about him in that it's about his relationship with hip-hop but at least there's a concept there. I mean the fact he's not even tried, not even TRIED to top things like "Stan" is just annoying. It's like a lack of ambition or something. He's so obsessed with his presentation but seemingly so concerned about the scope of his material now.
