Yeah I haven't woken up remembering a dream in a very long time. It sucks because sometimes my dreams are so cool I actually write them down in a journal.

In the past there have been times where I've woken up from a dream and I forced my self to go back to sleep because the dream was like a television show running in my head, except I was in it too.

But, I don't ever remember purposefully changing my dream. Once I was killed in my dream and I just stood there waiting for the guy to slice my neck

Ive been lucid dreaming at least once a week for the last 2 months now. And everyday I wake up I remember what I was dreaming about. Im thinking about starting a dream journal lol most of my dreams are a lot of fun. And when you first start lucid dreaming start out slow like just walk around or you will wake up. But when you get more experienced you can basically do anything you want.

And something wierd happend to me a few weeks ago when I was dreaming. I wasnt lucid dreaming I was in a school watching tv and some lady was on the tv and said Eminem had a new song and this song started playing that I never heard before and it was Eminem and it was really good. Then I woke up and just thought thats crazy how my mind could just produce a song that ive never heard before with his voice a beat and rhyming and it was actually good. Anybody else think thats crazy how the human mind can do stuff like that? In RL you have to write the lyrics make the beat do the vocals do the mastering and all that stuff but your mind can just make it instantly and play it to you while your watching a tv in your mind..

Do you smoke Marijuana? If so how often.

The reason I ask is they say Marijuana use can affect your dreaming to the point where you don't dream at all, if you do it everyday especially.

If you do smoke

Try this. Quit Marijuana for a whole day.. That night you will have a very vivid and crazy dream, keeps happening for every day that you quit. I know from experience. I smoked weed everyday and I recently tried this! I quit and the first night I had a CRAZY real vivid dream...

I don't smoke too much. To be honest, I've been moving around a lot these past 6 months or so... I've maybe smoked 3 or 4 times over that entire period (I'm not comfortable "asking around" for a pot dealer, y'know)

@UzaKing, I've had some dreams like that too. New amazing Eminem material, that'll never come out in real life but it's so amazingly perfect in your mind. Crazy how dreams can create that. :y:

Let me ask you this:
Have you ever had to reassure yourself that a nightmare was only a dream when you awakened? Like, you had to go check to make sure you're loved ones were still alive, or something like that.

This is similar to dreams I've had. I definitely have known I was dreaming several times, but all I could control was either waking up or not. As for the nightmare thing, I've never actually checked to see if shit was alright, but I've definitely felt as if it could have been real before.. after waking up I mean.

Ha ha since I have read this topic I keep coming across Lucid Dreaming now. For example my friends were randomly talking about it, and also I have seen some things on TV. Now it just keeps popping up. I have had a lot of these coincidences though.

I'm going to be honest - and I hope I have some credibility here...

Since I first read this thread (and, of course, have been doing a little bit of thinking about the subject) I have been dreaming almost nightly. I think I woke up twice last night after having dreams (I still can somewhat recall the later of them... it was very strange)

Like I said earlier, I rarely, RARELY dream... and yet its been about 3 nights in a row I have had vivid dreams. I even feel as if I had a very strange sensation during one of the dreams... it seemed VERY real like, and for some reason I recall having the feeling that I "knew I was in a dream". I'm NOT going to say I had a "lucid" dream, but I remember waking up this morning feeling much more in touch with the dream than I ever remember being. I don't know, I'm actually really shocked.

I will let you guys know if my dreams continue, and if they become any more vivid or "real like". This is really creepy! But kinda cool...
