Yeah but he ain't capable of anything else.

He ran out of tricks after album #1 and yes I'm talking Power of the Dollar. All he was ever good at, seriously good at was writing hooks. But he's even poor at that now since Curtis aside a few.

He's an ex-crack dealer with a record deal. He can either rap about his life or he's stuck, nothing at all. He's repeated himself in circles for five albums now and expect the next one to be the same. That ain't an artist. An artist should have the ability to create originality.

Get Rich was the best he could give and then all he could do was give slightly worse each time round. But even Get Rich, when you listen to the verses the vast majority are not very good at all. He's always been an average-to-awful lyricist with occasional flashes of greatness. He was the best on Power of the Dollar but it was his flow which made his subpar lyricism sound nice. When he lost that, he lost it all.

See the thing is, a great flow can make bad lyrics sound great. And a bad flow can make great lyrics sound bad. He has neither a great flow or great lyrics. So his bad flow just makes his average lyrics sound awful.

Because 50 Cent is irrelevant now...Lil Wayne filled his void as the hot rapper of the moment who sucks.

I don't think Jay-Z is very good anymore, but back in the Black Album days and prior he was only second to Eminem in terms of the best mainstream rappers out there. And these days there's no doubt he draws more fans than 50 Cent.
