recovery 532k in UK, hot or not ?

well it was top of the album charts for like 7 weeks or some shit, so of course its been a huge success here.

relapse was not a flop in uk, it's beyond platinum. I know that MMLP is his best selling album in uk and it sold over 2 millions in 2000. Recovery sold 532k after 10 weeks in 2010 is definitely fantastic.

It has been out for 11 weeks and hasn't been out of the top two. Its also been #1 for like 7/8 weeks

532K in the UK is actually as good as, if not better than 2.3 million in the USA... in proportion to the two populations

UK Population - 61.4 million
UK Sales - 532k
USA Population - 307 million
USA Sales - 2.3 million

UK's sales figures are technically more impressive

you're serious? mmlp is his best selling album over there and it sold over 2 millions 10 years ago while people still buying cds. Are you trying to say that Recovery must sell the same amount to be considered" fanstatic"? if so I guess it flopped everywhere then, since ya know, mmlp sold more than 20 millions ww and recovery so far only sold like 4 millions

It's his most succesful album in the UK and the biggest album of the year here. Calling it a flop means every single album released in 2010 is a flop.

Album sales in the UK are nothing now, except at christmas. Chart Success shows that if it was released in 2000 it would've outsold MMLP here.
